Video Conferencing Everyone Can Afford

BlinkMind Video Trunking Solutions

BlinkMind Video Trunking is the newest video conferencing innovation dedicated to saving your company money. Eliminate the never-ending video conferencing costs many companies incur with upgrading, training, maintenance and support.

Whether you have 2 video phones, or 200, BlinkMind Video Trunking makes video conferencing affordable for any size business. The BlinkMind solution allows a company to operate video conferencing with the minimum number of video trunks needed. Each purchased trunk is the equivelant of one user’s access to the video conferencing system. Purchasing 10 trunks allows up to 10 people to participate in conferencing at one time, 20 trunks allows 20 people access, and so on. Even though there are 200 phones on your network you only need to purchase the maximum number of phones needing to conference, at any given time.

The best part is, our engineers are continually developing and expanding the BlinkMind video conferencing system. You’ll have access to new features as soon as they become available, at no additional cost. Your company will have the finest video conferencing solution available today, and 5 years from now.

The BlinkMind Trunking Process

BlinkMind Process and Specifications

How SIP Trunking Works

Setting up Video Trunking in most cases is a simple four step process. Once the trunk is established, you can start selling service to your customers.

SIP Registration Process

Step 1: Survey
A brief interoperability survey would need to be completed to determine the appropriate settings required for your company’s infrastructure.

Step 2: SIP Credentials
BlinkMind will provide the SIP Credentials necessary to register to BlinkMind’s SIP Video Trunking service. These parameters are configured on the company’s IP PBX.

Step 3: Create Dial Plan
A dial plan unique to BlinkMind’s Bridge numbers should be created, so when the PBX sees the unique number, it properly routes the call to the BlinkMind Video Trunk.

Step 4: Validate Bandwidth
A video bridge uses at minimum 350kbps each way for each video conference participant. If you have 4 participants, you would need approx 1.4 Mbps to have a good quality call.

Step 5: Test
Once the trunk is established, BlinkMind’s engineering team will run through a series of test calls to ensure the service is functioning properly.

SIP Non-Registering Devices

Step 1: Survey
A brief interoperability survey would need to be completed to determine appropriate settings.

Step 2: SIP Credentials
SIP Credentials are provided to the carrier that will be used to register to BlinkMind’s SIP Video Trunking service. These parameters are implemented in the registering device and the video trunk is established.

Step 3: Create Dial Plan
A dial plan should be implemented so that calls to the assigned Video Trunking conference ID will route to the BlinkMind Video Trunk. Video calls being made to the BlinkMind Video Trunk should be able to establish the appropriate SIP and H.264 video call.

Step 4: Validate Bandwidth
The minimal video bandwidth usage will be 256Kbps in each direction. Audio will add additional bandwidth overhead depending on the codec being used.
